Praying Into Conviction

A student in North Africa lost a whole year of university because he refused to take exams on the Sabbath. When his final year approached, he confessed his doubts to a prayer group, and they prayed together for six months—that none of his final exams would fall on a Saturday. When the schedule was posted, every exam was on a weekday. When classmates later voted to move an exam to Saturday, his non‑Christian friend spoke up for him, saying, "It is very important to him that he keep the Sabbath holy."
