The Faith of a Child
Matthew 18:3, Mark 10:15 (NIV)
A five-year-old boy named Charlie was told by his Sunday school teacher that he could ask God for anything—even a real camel. The next Sunday, the teacher brought Charlie a small toy camel to help him understand. Charlie smiled and said, "God is going to give me a real camel one day." Two weeks later, a traveling circus broke down near their church, and the preacher—who knew about Charlie's prayer—bought a camel from them and gave it to the boy. Charlie rode his new camel home that afternoon. Childlike faith trusts God for the impossible.
