The Song in the Night

A missionary named John G. Paton was surrounded by hostile tribesmen in the New Hebrides. He and his wife spent the night praying and singing hymns. The next morning, they discovered that the attackers had fled during the night. Paton later wrote, "We sang the gospel into their hearts that night." Worship and prayer can disarm fear.
