The Story of Job (Short Version)
Book of Job (Chapters 1-42) (NIV)
Job was a wealthy, righteous man who lost everything—his children, his livestock, and his health. His friends accused him of sin, but Job never cursed God. He cried out in his pain but declared, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust him." God eventually restored Job's fortunes and gave him twice as much as before. Faith is not based on circumstances—God is still good in the storm.
