Esther's Bold Risk
Book of Esther (especially Esther 4:16) (NIV)
Queen Esther faced a terrifying choice: she could stay silent and watch her people be destroyed, or she could risk her life by going before the king uninvited—an act that could mean death. She said, "If I perish, I perish." Fasting and praying with her people, she approached the throne. The king extended his golden scepter, sparing her life. Her courage saved the entire Jewish nation from annihilation. Sometimes you're placed in a position "for such a time as this"—be bold enough to step forward.
