Rahab's Faith

Joshua 2, Matthew 1:5 (NIV)

Rahab was a prostitute in Jericho, but she heard about the God of Israel and believed. When Joshua's spies came to her city, she risked her life to hide them and help them escape. She said, "I know that the Lord has given you this land." Because of her faith, Rahab and her family were spared when Jericho fell. She became an ancestor of King David and, ultimately, of Jesus Christ. Courage and faith are always rewarded.
