The Prodigal Son's Father

Luke 15:11-32 (NIV)

A younger son demanded his inheritance early, left home, and wasted everything on wild living. When a famine hit, he was so desperate he longed to eat the pigs' food. He finally came to his senses and decided to return home, hoping just to be a servant. While he was still far away, his father saw him, ran to him, threw his arms around him, and kissed him. The father celebrated his return with a feast, saying, "This son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found." God's love is unconditional—He runs toward you with open arms when you return.
