The Birth of Jesus
Luke 2:1-20, Matthew 1:18-25 (NIV)
In the darkest time of history, a young virgin named Mary gave birth to the Savior of the world. Angels appeared to shepherds, proclaiming, "I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." The shepherds hurried to Bethlehem and found Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus. They spread the word about what they had seen. When hope seems lost, God sends His greatest giftβHis Son.
